As an RPA Developer, I have extensively worked with UiPath which is a popular RPA tool in the market. I have proficiency in UiPath Studio, UiPath Robot, and UiPath Orchestrator which are used for creating, executing, and managing automation workflows.

One of the tasks that I automated using UiPath was the invoice processing task in a finance department. The process involved extracting various data points from the invoices such as the vendor name, invoice date, invoice number, and the total amount. Earlier, this process was done manually which was not only time-consuming but also prone to errors. By automating this process using UiPath, I was able to reduce the processing time by 70% and also eliminate errors.

During the project, I used various UiPath activities such as OCR, Read CSV, Get Text, and Write CSV to read the invoices, extract data from them, and write the data into a CSV file which was then used by the finance team for processing the invoices in their accounting software.

Moreover, I also utilized UiPath Orchestrator to manage the automation workflows, schedule the tasks, and monitor the performance of the bots. This helped in maintaining the automation process and ensuring that it runs smoothly without any issues.
