My name is Sharath Pai and I graduated this year from Mumbai University in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering and I am writing to express my interest in appying for the Data Engineer role in Comcast

I am proficient in Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Natural Language Processing and I'm currently starting to work on Generative AI ans skilled in Python, R and Django. Some of my projects include

• Resume Screening and Job Recommendation: Used RegEx and NLTK to preprocess the text and TF-IDF vectorizer to create vectors of sentences. Trained the model using Random Forest Classifier and Artificial Neural Networks and obtained a 100% accuracy using ANN. Used feature engineering to extract the contact details from .pdf or .txt files.
  

• Engineering Branch Explorer: Used Langchain framework to create generate salary package, career options and syllabus related to a particular engineering stream. Integrated Llama3 to retrieve information and generate the details and SequentialChain to organize the flow of the LLM Chains and created a Streamlit application out of it.
  

• Detecting the Impact of UV Rays on Living Organisms: A project done during my internship role at Avignon University. Created datasets from sources such as NCBI, Springer, performed feature engineering to extract necessary information. Developed Machine Learning models using Supervised Learning algorithms and ANN and achieved a 94% accuracy using ANN. Created a Django-based web application where the model predicts whether the UV response is low, medium or high, predicts the UV response intensity and severity.
