My background starts from being born in Ukraine and then growing up in Spain for over 20 years. I was able to explore various countries and pick up cultural aspects. Afterwards, I decided to pursue my dream of studying in the US and find a job to allows me to make a change in people’s lives. While I do not have direct experience in the technological industry, I have always been surrounded by technology and have a curious mind about figuring out how things work. With this in mind, I would like to contribute to the technological race and the impact that it is going to have on people’s lives. In my previous role as a Finance Manager at Beher Franchise, I successfully led the development and implementation of pricing structures, aligning them with company goals and ensuring market competitiveness. Furthermore, I was also the Co-owner of the company thus further developing my leadership, teamwork, and customer experience skills. I have since then stepped down and wanted to pursue my dream of improving lives in a bigger perspective, pursuing my Master’s degree in Finance and applying for these roles. My efforts at the company did not only result in numerical improvements as I wasn’t just one of the owners and had oversight of the finances, I was also part of the team, another employee, and a waiter. I had to learn new skills, like cutting Iberic Ham or serving clients to understand the process and be able to assess it properly. I looked over building a long-lasting relationship with the customers.
